Kappa Delta Pi and Mount Royal University have joined forces to offer a unique professional development experience for educational practitioners, researchers, and policy makers.

We are offering a January through May 2016 online seminar series that collectively build toward a July 2016 face-to-face conference in Calgary, Alberta. The conference theme is Innovation and Leadership in Education and there are four strands within this theme: (1) professional learning, (2) empowering teacher leadership, (3) teacher professionalism, and (4) innovation.

Each of the conference strands will be featured in one of the online seminar series. Each seminar will consist of a panel, a featured speaker, or another type of focus experience leading to synchronous and asynchronous online professional dialogue.

Because the online seminar series is a pilot initiative on the part of KDP and MRU, there will be no charge for participating in this first offering of the seminars. The cost of participating in the conference is outlined on the conference website.
